Standard Cancellation and Reimbursement Timetable

Qualified for: Complete reimbursement with the exception of service charges

Service Charge: €50 for card transactions

Cancellations Due to Weather
Our Commitment to Weather-Related Issues
Safety stands as our utmost concern. Should our certified captain deem weather conditions perilous for yacht operation, we offer several alternatives:
- Complete Reimbursement: A full refund is provided if rescheduling isn't feasible
- Reschedule: The charter may be moved to an upcoming available slot without extra expense
- Charter Credit: A credit that remains valid for one year from the original booking
Process for Evaluating Weather Conditions
Evaluation of weather conditions consists of:
- Evaluating wind force and course
- Assessment of wave magnitude and sea status
- Verifying visibility and forecasting precipitation
- Heeding advisories and warnings issued by the Coast Guard
- Professional judgement of the captain on safety matters
Timing for Decisions: Decisions regarding cancellations due to weather will be made at most four hours prior to the planned departure time.
Reimbursements Pertaining to Medical Emergencies
Situations of Emergency
We are aware that medical emergencies might arise unexpectedly. Such emergencies that could be eligible for special consideration include:
- Unexpected illness or injury necessitating hospital stay
- Passing of a family member
- Compulsory military service or rapid recall
- Mandated juror service or legal summons
- Natural calamities impeding travel
Required Proof
To address requests for emergency refunds, please supply:
- A medical statement or hospital paperwork
- A death notice, if relevant
- Formal military directives
- Summonses or notices for jury service
- Travel warnings or declarations of emergencies
Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are handled within 3-5 business days after receiving the necessary documentation.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Technical Failures
Should the designated yacht experience unsolvable mechanical difficulties:
- Alternate Vessel: We shall endeavor to arrange a yacht of equivalent specification
- Complete Reimbursement: If a similar vessel is unavailable
- Partial Reimbursement: Adjusted refund if the substitute yacht varies in cost
- Compensation: Additional reparation might be offered for the inconvenience
Crew Non-Availability
In uncommon instances of unavailability of certified crew:
- Efforts to secure an alternate crew will be made
- Complete refund if the yacht rental cannot proceed
- Charter postponement without added costs

- Expiry: No extensions past 12 months

If your charter experience is disrupted or shortened due to reasons within our control:
- A refund proportionate to the unutilized duration
- A credit for an equivalent charter in the future
- Additional complimentary services or upgrades
Discontinuations Attributable to Guests
If a rental service concludes prematurely due to customer conduct or safety infractions:
- Absence of refund for non-utilized period
- Full settlement is expected
- Incidental costs may apply

- All demands for refunds should be in written form
- Reimbursements are executed in €, independent of the currency used at payment time
- We advocate for procuring travel assurance
- This document may be revised, given a 30-day forewarning
